THE ROLE:  Digital Media Coordinator

 

The Digital Media Coordinator will assist with the scheduling and production tasks for A+E’s Subscription Video on Demand (SVOD) products and its show web sites and apps.

  • SVOD responsibilities include:
    • Assist with scheduling and programming content for products spanning Lifetime, History and A&E
    • Write and manage ongoing metadata needs across products and platforms
    • Partner with editorial and marketing teams on newsletter and marketing email assets
    • Execute special projects such as tagging large quantities of content.
    • Assist with onboarding new products and new partners.
  • Show web site responsibilities include:
    • Assist in search research to understand what kinds of shows or content people are looking for.
    • Assist in site production across all brands.
    • Execute batch projects such as updating tags or images.
    • Build content on various platforms as needed, across all brands and projects
  • This is a temporary contract role, with potential to become a full-time staff role

 

 

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN:

You’ll learn all about scheduling, programming, and production of network products across multiple digital platforms. You will also learn to collaborate and communicate across teams, both moving along existing projects and getting opportunities to help spearhead new ones.

 

YOUR STORY:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized, self-motivated team player who also can take initiative and own a project from start to finish.

  • Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and adapt quickly
  • Ability to work independently and use sound judgment
  • A track record of being a team player
  • A love of information and entertainment
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 0-1 years of experience
