THE ROLE: Analyst, Strategy & International Business Development
The Analyst, Strategy & International Business Development is responsible for assisting in the management of commercial operations and development of strategic initiatives for A+E networks international. This role will be focused on evaluating, and implementing both internal and external new business opportunities, partnerships, and content investments to drive profit for the international organization.
MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Content Investment
• Support commercial relationship between international division and US channels to optimize content pipeline for global distribution
• Produce complex business models and high-quality presentations used to make investment recommendations to international team and executives
• Evaluate ad-hoc commercial questions relating to international strategy and global content value, and produce reports and presentations to effectively communicate findings
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to manage day-to-day execution and implementation of investment priorities with a current focus on global content development, production and distribution
• Track commercial elements of content related projects and manage agenda for regular programming investment meetings
• Support the development of business proposals and maintain models to analyze terms and financial components during negotiations
• Research and assess partnership targets based on growth objectives
YOUR STORY: [+BEHAVIORS] (what you need to have)
- • 1-3 years of experience and familiarity with media/entertainment businesses
• Ability to combine strong quantitative skills with excellent interpersonal skills
• Detail oriented critical thinker with a self-starter, positive attitude and eagerness to learn
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to work well with a variety of partners and diverse stakeholders
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• BS/BA in media, business and/or related field
• Familiarity with working in or with large organizations (preferred)
• Experience with financial models, business plans, contracts, and management presentation (preferred)
